The JESPY Mental Health Clinic is designed to assist clients and their families in the process of leading healthy, fulfilled, and productive lives as well as help them address psychological issues that may hinder functioning. The goal of the clinic is to help clients with:
Through individualized treatment approaches and evidenced-based practices, JESPY’s Clinical Behavioral Health staff helps clients with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities feel confident in knowing that their treatment is our top priority.
Goal-directed, therapeutic services and interventions are available for clients. Clients are offered both short and longer-term treatment to address their psychological and emotional needs to provide support and improve well-being. Clients are matched with a licensed mental health professional for services that are offered either on-site or via our secure telemedicine platform.
JESPY is contracted with most health insurances companies in the state and services are covered.
With each specific client’s care in mind, JESPY’s clinical teams maintains active communication throughout all JESPY House departments regarding the client’s progress and adaptations. This process enables the clinical team and each client to remain focused on achieving the client’s identified goals.
The JESPY Clinic is fully licensed by the NJ Department of Health (DOH) and is recognized as a licensed mental health facility in the State. This additional level of licensure enables the Clinical department to grow and to provide services to more people with IDD and their families.
Staff within the JESPY Clinic are also Licensed Mental Health clinicians who have extensive experience in counseling and clinical social work within the I/DD (Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities) community and their families.
